Cultivation & harvest
Peas thrive particularly well on loose, crumbly soil. It is important here that the soil is not too wet. A sunny, airy place offers peas the optimal location.
Use
These pulses are ideal as side dishes, in salads and in stews. The fresher they are, the better they taste.
Storage
Fresh pea varieties are not suitable for long storage and should be kept for a maximum of three days, preferably in a damp towel in the crisper drawer of the fridge.
