“Deutschland – Mein Garten.” is a consumer campaign that informs about the freshness, quality and environmental benefits of fruit and vegetables from Germany. The campaign’s aim is to bring consumers closer to local products, their season and their advantages. The campaign was initiated by the Bundesvereinigung der Erzeugerorganisationen Obst und Gemüse e.V. (BVEO).

Since 1970, the BVEO has been the national association of producer organisations and individual companies for fruit and vegetables. Under the common umbrella, the members have bundled important competences in order to use their common know-how for the high quality standards of German fruit and vegetables. In addition to organising trade fair and congress appearances, the association primarily represents the political interests of its members and manages PR and marketing measures.
