Oak leaf prefers a sunny position to be able to form firm heads. The soil for growing lettuce is loose and has low nutrient requirements.
The great advantage in the preparation of oak leaf is that the leaves in the dressing do not collapse quickly like those of other varieties.
The oak leaf can be stored in the freshness bag in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator for a few days.
